As the post title indicates, I have been on the E for one full month. With the help of my friend, I self-administered my fifth shot, and even though I had a couple of bumps, the process was smoother. I am confident that I can inject myself without help if necessary. I plan to do at least two more injections with help, if for no other reason than to refine the process.
For the most part, I have not seen any changes, I have mentioned some things I have felt over the last few weeks, but I think all that is in my head. Most recount that I have read state that the user tends to see a change in smell or skin softening after one month. I have not experienced that. Truthfully, like so many before me, I am questioning if I am doing my injections correctly. I know I need to get out of that mindset, but it is darn near impossible. At this point, I am hoping that my doctor will be ordering labs soon. When I have numbers in front of me, I tend to be more practical because I have hard cold facts that I am staring at. I will, of course, continue to document here any updates, and as always, if this is helpful to you, the reader, or if you want to say hello, I would love to hear from you. I am not a writer, as anyone reading my posts can see; however, writing can be cathartic, and if only one person finds comfort in what they read, it is worth doing.
