Today I administered my 15th shot in my left thigh. I mention the location because I sometimes forget which thigh I used last, and I can use this site to help me remember. We are now 14 full weeks in, and what a week it has been.
Three big things happened this week. First, the sports bras I have been wearing to work have become uncomfortable after prolonged use. My nipples continued to be tinder, and having them pressed in all day started to get old. The other thing I noticed, and I asked a co-worker, is that my breast is starting to show. I decided it was time to get a bra. With the help of a gal pal, I figured out my band size and cup size and bought my first bra. The bra is padded, so it adds a little to my appearance, but more importantly, my breast does not hurt as much.
The second piece of news is that I decided to proceed with the legal name change. A friend helped me with the paperwork, and I submitted all the documents this past Thursday. The judge looked at the paperwork today, and I need to appear before him on June 5th, at which time he should grant the motion, and I will be able to change all my documentation.
The third item of note is that after long last, I talked with the parental unit. They found out on their own, and they were not happy. We talked for about half an hour, and they decided they needed time to process the information. I am unhappy that I let them find out on their own. I could have told them. I am happy it is out there, and all the coming-out barriers have been removed.
