Today, I administered my twenty-ninth shot in my left thigh. Nothing special this week concerning the shot.
In other news, I am often asked, “When did you first go out in public” and I love to share that recounting. Please note, that I had gone out three other times but I never left my car and nobody could see me, therefore, I don’t count those times.
In September of 2022 one Saturday evening, I was at home and I decided to look at Facebook. A friend of mine who did not know that I at the time was a “Crossdresser“, asked if anyone wanted to go to a drag show. The title was called Dungeons and Drag. I don’t know what exactly clicked in my brain but I decided at that moment, I was going to the event as Alla
I called a friend and asked her if she wanted to go but she could not make it. I told her what I was planning and she wished me luck. She was also helpful in other ways. Once I got ready to go, I realized, what was I going to do with my phone, ID, and money. I called her back up and she told me to stop by her house and she gave me a purse. She also helped me with. A couple of other items like telling me my right boob kept shifting. I ended up removing the breast. She also told me about a common friend who might want to go so we called that person. They were busy but they wished me luck.
The event was across town and on my way I called the common friend and we talked until I got to the location. I sat frozen in my car for about 5 minutes while the friend gave me encouragement, finally, I got out of the car and my friend talked me all the way up to the front door.
Once I was inside, I saw the person who posted the Facebook message, his jaw drop and he immediately came to me, hugged me, and congratulated me, I told the other friend, I should be okay and we ended the call.
The show was great, however, I was miserable the entire evening because I was so self-conscious that it was hard to enjoy anything. I give this recount now because the production company announced this past Thursday’s show that they doing Dungeons and Drag again. This next time around will be even more awesome.
