I am ashamed to say it, but I am falling into old patterns. My last post was last Wednesday, when I received my second shot. I must do better. As the title suggests, today I received my third shot of Estrogen. I mentioned my mood right after the shot in the last post, and today […]
Change Change Change
I have been so fortunate with my “coming out”; almost everyone has been accepting, and I have not had to deal with too much negativity. Most friends are excited for me, but I do have that one friend who is having a rough time. She keeps telling me how she keeps grieving the loss of […]
Week Two
Yesterday I received my second injection. As mentioned previously, noticeable changes don’t appear for at least a month but that is the physical. I can tell you, I did notice a change, my mood after the shot was immediately improved. I am so excited to see what continues to happen. I know I mentioned above […]
Quick Update
As mentioned, I met with the doctor, who prescribed me estradiol valerate. I received my first injection this past Thursday, and nothing magical happened(of course). Changes will take a while, but I am amazed that any little thing that happens to me, I immediately think, “Oh my God, the drug is having an effect.” On […]
FaceApp
I found an app called FaceApp this past week. FaceApp is an AI photo generator. There is a monthly service fee with a 7-day free trial. I signed up and canceled immediately. The featured image and the after picture are examples of what the app can do.
Dr. Visit
Yesterday, I had my first visit with my doctor. The visit was great, he was helpful and a pleasure to meet. We agreed end on Estradiol valerant 20 mg. The medicine should be here today. I am excited.

Since coming out, one of the most common questions is: “How did you choose that name?”. That name, of course, is Alla. Back in 2006, I started playing the MMORPG game World of Warcraft(WOW). When creating your character for the first time, you can choose between several races and two genders. I initially chose a […]
Girls Night Out
Saturday night, I had a wonderful time with my daughter and her friend. We went to a local drag show hosted by The Phoenix at Godsey’s Grill. The show, as always, was great, and the Phoenix is a great voice for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Two Different Experiences
Yesterday I had a lunch date with two cis female friends. These two women have known that I am trans for a long time; however, I have only gone out with them as a man. Since I am a full-time female, I thought it would be nice to dress up. I wore a floral print […]
Being Seen
I have been out full-time as a female for over a week, and people have noticed. Please keep in mind I knew I would be noticed; who can miss a 6’3” woman in a dress? The experiences I have had this past week have been mostly positive. I am still dealing with anxiety issues, such […]
