Before I get into the meat of my article, I would like to say, for all the issues that swirls about AI, it is nice that a no talent hack like myself can create feature images using AI. October, is a very special month for me. The most obvious is that it is Halloween month and it is a time to dress up, of magical and mythical characters. The one thing that I am looking forward to is trick or treating with my grand children. With the exception of last year, I do it every year. I wish, I had done more on Halloween with my own children. I missed out on so much. Below are some of the pictures from Halloween pasts.
The other reason why October is so special is because I view that month as liberation month. On October 15th 2024, I was is a surgical theater at 7:00 am and when I was rolled out into recovery I had a new body. I am talking about gender affirming surgery. I had Vaginoplasty surgery and it was one the most amazing thing to ever happen to me. I have a new lease on life, I am able to live my life in the body that is right for me. For many transgender people, surgery is not necessary or needed and I am happy for them. I have said many times before, a person can be transgender and not have surgery or hormone therapy. The transgender experience is unique to every individual. If I could say only one thing to my transgender brothers, sisters non binaries, and anyone in general. Don’t ever let yourself be boxed into a definition of what you should be, you need to be the your best self.
