Yesterday I received my second injection. As mentioned previously, noticeable changes don’t appear for at least a month but that is the physical. I can tell you, I did notice a change, my mood after the shot was immediately improved. I am so excited to see what continues to happen.
I know I mentioned above that there should be no physical changes but I wonder if that is not true. I work out four days a week, the exercise routine is mostly mixed cardio. When working with weights I use the five pounds. I noticed on Monday that the weights felt strange and heavy. I did not think much about it at the time but when working out yesterday I noticed that I was having the same struggles again.
It could be happenstance, but from my research I have found that while taking hrt the person will lose muscle mass and that the amount of weight they can lift will decrease. I know this is probably not the case but I want to document what is going on with me during this transition.
Today I will keep monitoring my weight exercise and if need be I will drop down to the three or four pound weights.
