When I had first started hormone replacement therapy(HRT), I did a weekly injection. I made it a habit of trying to document on this site, where I did the injection on my body. After surgery, I switched to patches and pills for about six months. I felt that they were not as effective and my provider recommended injections for someone my age. I went back to the shots and I do them weekly but I struggle with remember which thigh I last applied the injections. Because of this, I am documenting here once again. I usually do not think about the site until I am in my chair and ready to apply the shot, having the ability to quickly pull up on my site is a plus. I know people might say well take a not on you phone but have you seen the ton of notes on my phone that never get looked at? No, this is the better solution.
With that though in mind, I gave myself the weekly injection this past Tuesday in my left thigh. Now next week, I dont have to move the syringe side to side wondering which leg gets the stick.
